More poetry ;)

I wrote this one about a year ago.
Anger
By Rebekah Perkins
It smolders inside you through day and night,
Waiting silently to ignite,
Waiting for that second of time,
When it can into a fire climb.

Waiting until your weakest moment,
Of which later you wish to repent,
But in that few seconds of time,
Anger, is at it's prime.

It jumps out in harmful ways,
The hurt sometimes last for days and days,
It is your worst enemy of all,
It can build an impossible wall.

Like a bolt of lightning it will strike,
Starting a fire of hatred and dislike,
Making friends of yesterday,
Wanting to make the other dearly pay.

Anger is a terrible thing,
Agony and hurt it will always bring,
Striking at the worst possible minute,
When all you can do is submit.

It ruins beautiful things,
And hurt and tears it always brings,
It makes me unhappy just to think about,
The fact that anger brings so much doubt.

As much as possible I suggest,
To hold your temper to the test,
Hold you're ugly feelings inside,
And maybe they will quickly subside.

Don't let anger rule you,
For that is what it wants you to do,
Let it control your ways,
And you will regret it all your days.

I hope this helps you, for it has helped me,
I started to write this when I was angry you see,
And now I feel that I can breath,
Without making anger sneeze.
