Christian Armor
"Put on the
whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of
the devil. For we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against the spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able
to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand
therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation
of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all
perseverance and supplication for all saints; and for me, that
utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to
make known the mystery of the gospel. For which I am an ambassador in
bonds; that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
-Ephesians 6:11-20 (KJV)
Armor Of God
By Rebekah Perkins
Put on the armor which God
has commanded you,
Without it, you wont be
able to do what you are called to do,
To fight against the
powers of evil and darkness,
To stand up against this
world of wickedness.
To the battle field with the armor of God,
Though we fight not
against flesh, and blood,
But against the
principalities and evil powers on earth,
That seek to stamp out all
evidence of the Saviors birth.
Take your shield of faith
and spirits sword,
Which
is the holy book of God's word,
Go around the world
proclaiming this,
The way to forgiveness and
heavens bliss.
Speak boldly of the
saviors mercy, and love,
Of how he came from heaven
above,
How he walked this earth
in pure perfection,
And died for yours, and
mine, protection.
Remember we are to be
ambassadors for him,
To show love, and joy, and
be a light in the world so dim,
Hold his flag proudly, and
proclaim his name,
That all may hear, and
know his fame.
Thumbs up!
